Sam is Rose’s principal founder and shareholder. Sam has an extensive real estate background, having grown up in a development and construction family. He has over 30 years of real estate development experience and has directly developed and/or built over 2,500 homes.

Sam was initially a co-founder of Great Gulf Homes, leaving to start Rose in 1982. Sam has also been involved with several entrepreneurial ventures in the energy, technology, automotive and food service industries, among others.

Sam uses his real estate and entrepreneurial experience to create value for his partners, borrowers and investors. Throughout his career, he has invested in many businesses and takes pride in developing long-term business relationships and successful partnerships. Sam holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business.
